An A2LA accredited dimensional inspection laboratory contracted to provide precision inspection for customers needing a high degree of accuracy. The laboratory provides dimensional inspection and process capability studies for plastic, die cast, machined, stamped, rubber parts.
Job Description:
Primary duty is performing dimensional inspections on plastic, die cast, machined, stamped parts utilizing a Brown & Sharpe Global (Software PC-DMIS 2015) CMM/CNC, and other types of inspection equipment.
Job Requirements:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
Ability to read and understand print drawings.
Ability to enter data in excel spreadsheets.
Above average mathematical aptitude.
Proficient in computer skills including Excel, and word processing.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a diverse customer base.
Primarily sedentary work with occasional standing, walking, and some lifting.
Requires manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, with fingers, and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
Work Environment:
Laboratory is well lighted, temperature and humidity control office setting work area.
